Adorable British cousins Sophia Grace and Rosie first rose to fame in 2011 when their YouTube rendition of Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" went viral. Two years and countless Ellen appearances later, Sophia Grace has released her very own original song and music video, "Girls Just Gotta Have Fun." Cue the cuteness overload.
In the video, the 10-year-old sports her signature pink puffy tulle dresses and tiaras as she raps about her "princess swagger" and dances with her quiet partner in crime, Rosie. Unsurprisingly, pink is the color of choice in "Girls Just Gotta Have Fun," which features a pink toy SUV, pink throne, and some serious pink club lighting. Even Sophia Grace's sassy sunglasses are trimmed in pink.
The precocious prima donna gives us her usual display of talent and confidence, picking out a dress with Rosie and going to the cutest dance party in the history of music videos. Later, a boy that Sophia Grace rejected throws food at her and she retaliates by giving him a pie in the face.
The pint-sized rapper also pays tribute to her famous mentors in her debut track. "Nicki is my princess. Ellen is my queen. Put 'em all together that's a Hollywood dream," she sings. She then goes on to sing about drinking… a strawberry milkshake.
It's all great G-rated fun. And did I mention adorable?
