London: Singer Chris Brown has reportedly demanded that his duet with Rihanna is pulled off from his upcoming album.
The 'Fine China' singer is said to have told his record company not
to include the song 'Put It Up' featuring the 'Stay' singer on his new
album 'X', which is due for release on July 16, reported Digital Spy.
"Just saw the working tracklist for X yesterday - Rihanna is not on
there. Record execs wanted that song on there, but Chris said he would
rather not and wouldn't allow the record to be released unless they took
it off.
"They're still hoping to convince Chris or pay him more to change
his mind because it would be a hit. The record hasn't been pressed yet,
so things can change, but at this point he's not changing his mind," a
source said.
In March, Brown stated that his on-off girlfriend Rihanna would definitely be starring on the album.
"We're taking it one day at a time. She's a wonderful girl. She's
beautiful. She's on tour and our schedules don't allow us to be as close
as we want to be. But everything is good. She will be on my album," he
had said.
Earlier this month, it was suggested that Brown had reconciled with
on-off girlfriend Karrueche Tran after an image of the pair cuddling
together was posted on Instagram.
