With the life of his beautiful wife on the line, Ethan Hawke's character Brent Magna is forced to obey the orders of his her kidnapper (voiced by Paul Freeman). Gun shots blare and motorcycles zoom past as Magna embarks on a labyrinth of car chases at the command of the mafioso's thick voice. The kidnapper commands: "Do exactly as I say, and you're wife livers. But if you lose or get caught, the game's over. She dies."
Gomez, the former Disney diva strenuously attempting to establish herself as a serious actress, puts Magna at gunpoint as she burst into his car, but winds up getting herself involved in the chase to save Magna's wife.Getaway zooms into theaters this upcoming Labor Day weekend.
