I would love to say you get the best of both worlds with Miley Cyrus's latest fashion statement, but that would be a lie. Let's do some math here: 50% sweatpants + 50% jeans =100% STUPID.
The rest of the "We Can't Stop" pop star's outfit is super hot — why did she have to ruin it with these atrocious pants? Cyrus not only had the audacity to wear this garment to the Myspace relaunch party, but she also paired the casual pants (I think we can agree that blue jeans and sweats are casual) with Christian Louboutin pumps. Your cool shoes will not make your ugly pants any less ugy… that's just like, the rules of feminism.
While we love her leather jacket paired with a funky assortment of necklaces and her lips smacked with vibrant red lipstick — which looks awesome with her punky, sleek hair — it's truly difficult to have any respect for Miley's fashion taste after glaring at her sweat-jeans.
Let's pray to the Fashion Gods (or at least Joan Rivers and the rest of the Fashion Police) that this slip-up was a one-time thing.
