Food Network Drops Paula Deen After Racism Scandal

Sorry Paula Deen, looks like this is one problem that butter can’t solve.
In the wake of all Deen’s court documents containing racial slurs, failing to address the matter on The Today Show, and a half-hearted YouTube apology, The Food Network has decided not to renew their contract with the chef.
The 66-year-old Savannah kitchen celebrity has been swamped in controversy since court documents filed this week revealed Deen told an attorney questioning her under oath last month that she has used the N-word.
"Food Network will not renew Paula Deen's contract when it expires at the end of this month,” the network said in a statement. Since her debut on the network in 2002 with “Paula’s Home Cooking,” Deen has built an empire from her television shows, cookbooks and product endorsements.
