The 15th season of Big Brother is barely underway, but
controversy is already surrounding the show after many of the
houseguests made racist and homophobic comments about each other. Now,
host Julie Chen speaks about her feelings towards those comments.
"Personally, I was offended," Chen told TMZ.
"I was offended by all the comments — the anti-gay, the anti-black, but
especially the anti-Asian ones... for obvious reasons."
The comments to which Chen refers includes one by Aaryn
Gries, a houseguest who made the anti-Asian remark that fellow
contestant Helen Kim should "go make some f**king rice." But even in the
face of comments like that, Chen kept her cool and remained classy. She
said she's hopeful that Gries will be able to "change the way she
thinks" once she leaves the Big Brother house.
Chen does take a shot at Gries when asked about the
houseguest being dropped by her modeling agency, but we'll give her that
