'Dexter’: Gruesome New Season 8 Poster Will Make You Gasp

The end is near: the 8th and final season of Dexter will have the drama’s last episodes and every breath our antihero takes could be his last.
In anticipation, Showtime has just released a brand new poster for Season 8 of Dexter, and to be honest, we’re getting a little lightheaded just looking at it. The grisly new artwork showcases the one and only Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) trapped under cellophane and gasping for breath. Could this mean that the guilt of all those murders is finally suffocating him, metaphorically speaking? Or is he literally being murdered?
So far we know that Season 8 will begin six months after LaGuerta’s murder, and Dexter is still managing life as a dad, brother, and, of course, a serial killer. We’ve seen that Deb is having a hard time dealing with her murderous actions of last season and she fully blames Dexter for all her guilt she is feeling from LaGuerta’s death.
Showtime also reveals that a new character will be added to the mix when the dark drama returns in June. A mysterious woman will come to work with Miami Metro, offering first-hand information on Dexter’s past. What details do you think this woman will reveal about our dark passenger?
