There's been a lot of hype lately surrounding Captain America: The Winter Soldier
(when isn't there hype for some Marvel movie or another?), and now
we've got another taste with this new teaser poster. It only shows
Captain America's (Chris Evans) shield, but the state of that shield is enough to let us know that the good Cap is going to have a rough time.
We don't know a whole lot about the new film, but here's what we do know. Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan)
will return, this time as the villainous Winter Soldier. That's going
to be a tough pill to swallow for his old friend Steve Rogers. We also
know that Captain America will team up with Natasha Romanoff, a.k.a.
Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson). And we know that the film will be set in present-day D.C. and will be structured like a political thriller.
The Winter Soldier doesn't come out until April
4, 2014, so we can look forward to details coming out along the way. And
I'm sure some of those details will come out during Marvel's Comic-Con
panel next Saturday. But for now, just take a minute to revel in this
poster and hope that poor Cap doesn't have to go through something worse
than losing his best friend, losing his lady friend, and waking up
decades in the future.
