UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. -- Amber
Carrington may not have won “The Voice,” but she left the show on
Tuesday night knowing that she developed a special connection with her
coach – Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine.
“Yeah, we definitely did [connect],” Amber told Laura Saltman after Tuesday’s elimination show.
“Growing
with him has been amazing,” she added. “Getting to know him [these]
past couple of weeks — he’s an amazing person and he’s helped me so
much.”
Amber said her “Voice” journey may have ended, but she will keep singing.
“I have to keep doing music and I’m not really sure where I’m going, but I’m excited for it — whatever it is,” she said.
Adam said he is confident that Amber can handle whatever comes next.
“You
know what’s funny about Amber is that she — you’re not the one that’s
gonna like, curl into a ball and die because you didn’t win ‘The
Voice,’” he said, looking at his “Voice” protege. “She’s a strong girl.”
