Miguel Told Not To Do That Fateful Jump, Now Injured Fan Checked for Brain Damage

You may remember Miguel's failed attempt to jump over the crowd at the Billboard Music Awards, resulting in him slamming down on some poor girl's head. The victim's name is Khyati Shah, and she may have suffered brain damage from the singer's botched stunt.
"Some of the difficulties she's experiencing are cognitive in nature and lead to suspicion of a neurological head injury," her lawyer told TMZ. And now they are reportedly awaiting neurological test results while they weigh a lawsuit.
According to TMZ, the award show producers warned Miguel not to do the dangerous leap from one stage to another, but he went ahead with it anyway. A source tells TMZ, "Miguel approached producers before rehearsals and asked if he could try to jump over the crowd during his performance but producers shot down the idea." We'd say Miguel is probably wishing he hadn't decided to go rogue right about now.
The lesson here: risky jumps just aren't worth it.
