There's some debate over who's the most badass character on Game of Thrones right now: fast-talking Tyrion Lannister, mother of dragons Daenerys Targaryen, hottie king of the north Robb Stark, even the blunt wildling Ygritte... and then there's little Arya Stark, the revenge-obsessed, blood-thirsty girl on her way to reuniting with her family. But while the debate over the best character has yet to be resolved — and probably won't be any time soon— there's some cold, hard evidence as to which character parents are keeping in mind as they choose names for their newborn baby girls.
The Social Security Administration released their annual list of top baby names this week, and it turns out that "Arya" is the fastest-rising baby name for girls. The GOT-inspired name jumped from No. 711 in 2011 to No. 413 in 2012.
While that is still far lower than any of the names in the Top 20, it's still much higher up than "Cersei" or "Sansa" — because who wants to name their daughter after an incest-loving, narcissistic b***h, or a boy-crazy, entitled coward? Always choose the fighter!
