From
Sasha Allen covering the Whitney Houston version of “I Will Always Love
You” to Michelle Chamuel taking on Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time,”
the show was packed with standout performances.
Here’s how it all went down.
Round 1:
The Swon Brothers performed Bob Seger’s “Turn The Page”
The
Oklahoma siblings received a standing ovation from their coach, Blake
Shelton, who said he was “blown away” by their performance. Blake also
noted their progress across Season 4 has been impressive. “We’ve seen
the biggest growth in The Swon Brothers throughout this competition over
anybody else. Week to week you continue to blow people away. … I’m
impressed. I’m a fan.”

Sasha Allen performed Whitney Houston’s version of “I Will Always Love You”
Coach
Adam Levine said she did a “great job” on one of the two toughest songs
he thinks are the most difficult to sing (the other being the National
Anthem). Usher said Sasha did an “amazing job” and her powerful voice
will keep her on the show.
***
Michelle Chamuel performed the Zedd song (feat. Foxes) “Clarity”
Yet
again, Michelle won over Adam who said he had nothing else to say
“other than I love you.” “You’re amazing,” he added.” Blake complimented
Michelle’s performance and said he was “amazed at how dramatic” she can
be on a song.
***
Danielle Bradbery performed Tim McGraw’s “Please, Remember Me”
An
impressed Adam told her she couldn’t have performed the song any
better. Blake added that Danielle has no “weaknesses” in her singing
voice. “How is that even possible?” he added.
***
Amber Carrington performed Katy Perry’s “Firework”
Blake
was won over and told Amber, “the power of your voice is just
phenomenal.” Adam told Amber she sang “Firework” better than anyone else
who has performed it on the show.

Round 2:
The Swon Brothers performed Loggins & Messina’s “Danny’s Song”
Adam,
who recognized the number, was impressed. “I was excited because that’s
one of my favorite songs… and it’s the first one that I know really
well that you guys have done. … It’s really close to my heart and you
guys did an incredible job,” he said.
***
Sasha Allen performed Donna Summer’s “Bad Girls”
Usher
praised Sasha for doing justice to the original performer. “Donna
Summer is an incredible legacy and I was really happy to see [you pay
tribute to] that,” he said. Sasha’s coach, Shakira, called her
performance “so much fun.” She also thanked Sasha “for… making this so
magical.”
***
Danielle Bradbery performed Jessica Andrews’ “Who I Am”
After
seeing Danielle’s mom join her on stage during her performance, Usher
was prompted to thank his own family members, who he named on the spot.
He then told Danielle that she gave an “incredible performance.” Shakira
called Danielle “such a little star,” and “the cutest thing ever.”
***
Amber Carrington performed Maroon 5’s “Sad”
Blake
used the moment to make a little joke at Adam’s expense. “The fact that
you can make one of Adam’s songs that beautiful — that’s doing
something,” Blake said. “I can’t wait to buy your record one of these
days. You’re such an emotional singer.”
***
Michelle Chamuel performed Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time”
Shakira
said Michelle is one of her “favorites in the competition,” and Usher
told her, “My God, you’re the winner.” “You are medicine for the whole
world,” he added. “I love you, Michelle.”
“The Voice” continues on Tuesday at 8/7c on NBC.
