Simon Cowell’s Egg Attacker Apologizes

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Simon Cowell attends the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ final wrap party at 45 Park Lane on June 8, 2013 in London
Caption Simon Cowell was left with egg on his face during Saturday’s “Britain’s Got Talent” finale and the woman responsible is speaking out.
During Richard and Adam Johnson performance of “The Impossible Dream,” a woman rushed the stage and began throwing eggs at the judges’ table, particularly at Simon.
The egg-throwing woman was identified as Natalie Holt, a viola player who previously auditioned for the British talent competition as part of the Raven Quartet. On Saturday, Natalie was a member of the orchestra who backed the Johnson brothers during their performance.

“I want to apologize to Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance,” Natalie said in a statement released by “BGT.” “I’ve never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realized it was a silly thing to do.”
Simon also addressed the incident on Twitter writing, “I really don’t like eggs,” followed by, “I don’t think eggs should be allowed on talent shows. Discuss?”
