Caption Selena Gomez is a big sister!
The star’s mom, Mandy Teefey (along with Selena’s stepdad Brian Teefey), welcomed a baby girl on Wednesday.
The “Come & Get It” singer announced the happy news on her Facebook page on Friday, writing, “Momma, Brian, and me are all so grateful for all your well wishes.
“My lil sissy Gracie Elliot Teefey was born on June 12,” her post continued. “Luv you all so much. XOXO.”
Selena’s longtime friend (and fellow former Disney star) Demi Lovato Tweeted her excitement over the family’s new arrival.
“@selenagomez IS A BIG SISTER!!!!!! Everyone congratulate her and her family!!!!!! #CONGRATSSELENA!!!!” she wrote on Thursday.
The baby girl’s arrival is doubly special, as Selena’s mom suffered a miscarriage in December 2011.
Mandy and Brian tied the knot in 2006.
