Is it just me, or is the international trailer for Snowpiercer
confusing as hell? Director Bong Joon-ho's latest film focuses on the
last survivors of a post-apocalyptic world that are stuck on a train
after a global warming experiment brings on another ice age... but from
the looks of the above video, it seems kind of like a really messed up Polar Express.
We see Tilda Swinton
laying down the law, telling passengers that the rich stay in the front
while the poor stay in the back. Naturally, Captain America is having
none of this class system: Chris Evans takes some Korean guy out of a drawer to help the lower class make their way to the front of the train (symbolically and literally) and take over the engine.
Snowpiercer doesn’t have a US release date yet, but hits theaters in South Korea on August 1.
