Ashton Kutcher's Steve Jobs Biopic 'JOBS' Will Finally Hit Theaters

More straining than the wait for official announcement of the iPhone 6 (it actually makes all your calls for you) is the anticipation of whenever the hell Ashton Kutcher's Steve Jobs biopic will hit theaters. JOBS — stylized in all caps, which we can all agree is an improvement on the lowercase "j" nonsense that they were fooling around with previously — debuted at the Sundance Film Festival, and was slated to hit national theaters this past April. Pulled shortly before release, however, we weren't sure when we'd be seeing the That '70s Show vet embody Apple's ingenious founder. Now, Deadline reports that JOBS will reach the big screen on Aug. 16, allowing Open Road Films more time to market their movie effectively.
Or maybe it just takes three months to appropriately capitalize a "j." Either way, this will technically be the second Jobs biopic to hit this year (after Funny or Die's Justin Long starrer), but only a precursor to the Aaron Sorkin-penned behind-the-scenes feature we're all really waiting for. What can we say? The man can write an industry piece like nobody's business.
