Angelina Jolie made her debut appearance since her double mastectomy Sunday night when she worked the red carpet at the London premiere of her beau Brad Pitt's upcoming zombie film World War Z.

A few weeks ago, Jolie revealed in a New York Times editorial that she carries a "faulty" gene which motivated her to have a double mastectomy to slim the risk of her contracting breast cancer. Jolie was especially driven to have mastectomy surgeries since her mother Marcheline Bertrand passed away due to cancer in 2007.

At the premiere, Jolie sported a slick, curves-hugging black Saint Laurent dress and in an interview with BBC, she vibrantly exclaimed that she "feels great and wonderful" and shared how thankful she is for all the support she's received through this process. The Oscar-winning actress also spoke about being grateful for the increased emphasis on women's health in the media.

Although Jolie swiftly directed the interview back to the focus of the night, her man and his new apocalyptic flick, Pitt commented on Jolie's perseverance. He shared that "life will go on" and, despite everything, they are still together on the red carpet taking care of their movie-making business.

So... can I have a supportive man like Brad Pitt all to myself?
Catch World War Z  in theaters June 21.
