Reese Witherspoon Gets Scolding from Jim Toth in New Video

Reese Witherspoon didn't only tangle with a police officer the night of her arrest.

In the latest piece of embarrassing cop-car dashboard footage, Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth can be heard bickering with each other over her behavior.

"He's arresting us. For what? What have I done?" the actress, 37, can be heard demanding of her husband in the video obtained by TMZ.

"He told you to stop," a slurring Toth replies.

Witherspoon heatedly counters: "I'm an American citizen! I can say whatever I want to! He does not have jurisdiction over the ground that he speaks on. He does not. I'm allowed to say anything I want to say. I can protest any way I want."

Toth then informs his wife, "He asked you to get in the car. All you should have done is let me get arrested."

But Witherspoon remains indignant.

"Arrested for what?" she demands.

"A DUI!" Toth replies. "You wouldn't listen to what he said to do and you kept getting out of the car. Now you've turned it into national news."

"Honestly, c’mon honey. C’mon," she says sarcastically.

Toth’s comeback: "You just turned it really bad."

On an earlier piece of video, Toth can be heard apologizing to the arresting officer for Witherspoon’s tirade and disavowing her behavior.

"I'm sorry, I had nothing to do with that," he says.

After a public apology, Witherspoon pleaded no contest Thursday to disorderly conduct; Toth pleaded guilty to DUI and was fined $600 and ordered to attend an alcohol education program and perform community service.
