It's been more than 24 hours since we last wrote about Amanda Bynes, which means the time is ripe for something new.
After getting herself in a heap of trouble by allegedly throwing her bong out of her 36-floor window on May 23 — and then making things worse by accusing her arresting officer of sexual harassment — Bynes may have finally found a stroke of luck. At least, if her Twitter account is to be believed.
Bynes tweeted
on Tuesday afternoon, "My lawyer is getting my case dropped! There was
no proof of sexual harassment or drugs." Bynes goes on to say that,
despite lack of evidence of her alleged abuse, she will be "suing [the
officer] for money compensation" because she "love[s] having more money
in [her] bank!"
This will be an uphill battle for Bynes, considering the New York Police Department confirmed for E! News, "NYPD Internal Affairs investigators have found no evidence to corroborate Ms. Bynes' allegations."
But, in the event that Bynes' suit for "money
compensation" fails, "His punishment will be being the cop who sexually
harassed someone who would never find him handsome enough to be my
boyfriend." Or so says Bynes.
