Hollywood star Robert Pattinson is still not able to get over the fact that his girlfriend Kristen Stewart had cheated on him and established an affair with married director Rupert Sanders. He was deeply hurt after Kristen broke up with him and dated Rupert.
"Rob broke up with Kristen because he never got over the fact that she cheated," contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying.
"He is never going to forget. For a superstar, he can be very insecure and what went down last year just preyed on that. Rob gets in his own head and thinks the worst. He broods a lot," the source said.
Robert and Kristen finally called it a quit and Pattison moved out of Kristen’s apartment.
On one hand Pattinson is highly disturbed over his girlfriend cheated on him and on the other hand, Katy Perry encouraged him to leave Kristen as he deserves someone better."Katy told Rob she didn’t think their relationship could withstand the cheating scandal," an insider tells Life & Style.
"And he deserved better than someone who would destroy a family [like Rupert's]."
"Katy liked Kristen, but ultimately she’s loyal to Rob and wants that’s best for him," the source continued. "I know he always leans on her during hard times, and Katy would do anything for him."
