Fox tv series 24 to make a comeback with new plot

 The much acclaimed action loaded Fox series 24 is set to return to the small screen after a 3 three year long gap. The hit tv series had come to an end after running successfully for eight seasons in 2010 and is now making a comeback with a new plot.   

The show had won several awards including the most coveted Emmys. However, the old series will not be continued further but will be revived in an all new avatar. According to the reports, Kiefer Sutherland will most probably play the role of a counter-terrorism agent Jack Bauer in the limited TV series.

The last season’s concept of telling a gripping narrative of super agent Bauer’s 24 hour ordeal while fighting against terrorists will move to another level in the new series. The show also features Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor.

Howard Gordon, executive producer of Showtime’s Homeland has created a unique plot introducing a new chapter in the hero’s journey.

Turning down expectations of making the series into a movie, the makers are of the view that it may not be justice to the 24 hour drama if wrapped up in a two-hour movie. 

Kiefer Sutherland will most probably feature in the new series as well.
