Angelina Jolie replaced her real breasts with implants to avoid cancer

For Angelina Jolie, prevention seems to be  better than cure and that’s why the actress decided to undergo double mastectomy after discovering that she carried the BRCA 1 cancer gene.

According to a report published in the New York Times, the actress was quoted as saying, "My doctors estimated that I had an 87% risk of breast cancer and a 50% risk of ovarian cancer, although the risk is different in the case of each woman.”

Angelina’s mother died in 2007 after battling ovarian cancer.
