On her Facebook fan page
15-year-old daughter of King of Pop Michael Jackson, Paris Jackson's
quote is posted that reads "Worlds Most Beautiful. If you can't see what
it says, tell me and i'll make it bigger: Paris Jackson." Sadly, the
teen who called the world beautiful attempted to end her life in Los
Angeles and was rushed to a Los Angeles-area hospital on Wednesday after
the apparent suicide attempt, her mother said, but her family later
reported she is physically fine.
"Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical
attention.Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you
are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to
you." Perry Sanders, an attorney for Paris' grandmother and guardian,
Katherine Jackson, said in a statement.
Celebrity website TMZ.com, which first reported the suicide
attempt, said Paris had been taken from her family's home in Calabasas,
California, by ambulance at about 2 am time, citing unnamed sources.
Here is a look at Paris Jackson's unseen pictures and the story of her disturbed life.
The pressure of
testifying in the high-stakes legal showdown over Michael Jackson’s
death drove Paris Jackson to attempt suicide by slitting her wrist,
sources close to the family told the Daily News.
The King of Pop’s only
daughter was due to take the stand by the end of the month in the
billion-dollar wrongful death lawsuit pitting the Jackson family against
AEG, the promoter of his doomed run of concerts.
But rehearsals for the
testimony have worn on the 15-year-old who watched her superstar father
become a shell of himself before he died, a source said.
“She’s just a wreck.
She was getting more and more emotional about having to take the stand
as the day gets closer,” the source added.
This is a plea for help. She is broken.”
That source said that Paris cut one of her wrists multiple times
early Wednesday at her Los Angeles area home following a series of
ominous tweets. A second source confirmed she had cut her wrist.
Pop singer Jackson died
in 2009 at age 50 from a lethal dose of surgical anesthetic propofol
while preparing for his "This Is It" series of concerts in London.
