Met Gala: Anne Hathaway's Blonde 'Do Straight Out of 'Star Trek' & 9 Other Red Carpet Lookalikes

Anne Hathaway, Star Trek

Andres Otero/WENN; Paramount Pictures
Anne Hathaway stepped out at the 2013 Met Gala (affectionately called the Met Ball) with a rather surprising new look: bright blonde locks. While they're sure to garner ire from her numerous detractors, we think Hathaway was actually one of the better dressed ladies on the red carpet at New York's Metropolitian Museum of Art. She did, however, remind of us a beloved science fiction character (in a good, totally sexy and complimentary way!). Girl, even though you told Vogue.com you were inspired by Debbie Harry, you're looking a little like Star Trek: Voyager's sexy Seven of Nine – and we love it.
But Hathaway wasn't alone, check out her Star Trek-esque look and nine other ladies drawing inspiration from pop culture (a few, perhaps unintentionally).

Anne Hathaway: Secret Sci-Fi Fan?

Hathaway debuted her new blonde 'do at the Met Gala and while she says the look was inspired by Debbie Harry, we can't help but notice the resemblance between her and Star Trek babe, Seven of Nine.

Don't Tell Mama Liza Maggie Stole Her Look

Gyllenhaal is rocking a sleek red gown with a neckline, collar, and short 'do that scream Liza in 'Caberet.' (It's okay, Bob Fosse musicals are never out of style.)

Miley's Hitting the (Donkey) Sauce

Darling Miley, your dress is sheer perfection (and we mean that literally), why ruin it all with a hairdo that clearly took an unwarranted trip through Flavortown?

Pretty in (Post) Punk

You thought Kim Kardashian's rosy ensemble was a fashion faux-pas? In reality, it's just an homage to New Order's 'Power, Corruption, and Lies' to go with the Met Gala's Punk theme. (At least we hope. Let it be so, Kimmie!)

Olivia Gets a Mul-ti-pass

Sure, she's one orange wig away from Leeloo in 'The Fifth Element,' but she looks so damn good, we'll give her a pass. (Yes, a mul-ti-pass.)

Solange, You're Our Baby Love

Solange is channelling music great Diana Ross, and she looks absolutely fabulous doing so. It's hard not to love Beyonce's young, talented sister.

It's Ok, Madge, Nobody's Perfect

Everybody accidentally dresses exactly like Jessie J on one of fashion's biggest nights. Happens all the time. Okay, it only happens to Madonna in 2013.

It's a Small (Under) World After All

Nicole, your dress and your dark lipstick are fabulous, but perhaps you went a tad too blue on the 'do. We're trying to see haute couture, but all we're seeing is Hades from Disney's 'Hercules.'

Poison Ivy, Part Deux

Uma, you looked amazing as Poison Ivy, so it's no wonder you wanted to give the Batman villain's wardrobe a tiny visit once more.

January Just Wants to Be Perfect

January Jones may get a ton of flack from the media, but let's just hope it's not driving her to imagine feathers growing out of her back a la Nina in 'Black Swan.' You look fabulous, Miss Jones! (Even if we would think twice about following you into a dark alley in that outfit.)
